Math: We will finish our look at patterning and skip counting, with an assessment this week before moving on to data management. View this attached video to demonstrate how we are using number lines in class to skip count or discover number patterns. Grade 4s are also practicing how to show this information using t-charts. Number lines and t-charts can begin and end at any number that makes sense with the problem.
Language: We used graphic organizer to deconstruct a story about a child with stage fright. We have been writing our own ending to this story. We will begin to create our own narrative stories using the same graphic organizer this week.
