Math:  We will explore representing numbers in different ways. Grade 4s will deal with numbers up to 10 000 and grade 3s with numbers up to 1000. This video explains numbers represented in expanded form.
Language:  We are finished with narrative writing and will begin to look at the main idea of written texts. This is information that would change the story greatly if it was not included. It is the most important thought or idea in a writing piece. Supporting details are information used to provide more information about the main idea.
