We are pleased to have our student teacher from University of Ottawa, Ms. Erum, joining us full time starting tomorrow.
Language: We will look at synonyms this week. This was on our schedule for last week but the students enjoyed prefixes and suffixes so much we pushed synonyms to this week.
Math: We will explore a variety of strategies to add multi-digit numbers. Grade threes will add two digit numbers using mental strategies and three digit numbers using concrete materials and a variety of other strategies. Grade fours will do the same with four digit numbers.
