Math: Student created strategies used to solve multi-digit addition problems were sent home earlier this week. These are strategies we touched on last week and will continue to use this coming week.
Language: We looked at synonyms quickly this week, also spending time exploring fiction and nonfiction text features. We will continue looking at both of these this coming week.
Homework: Cursive writing homework came home on paper on Friday. This can stay at home for practice throughout the year. Also for homework this week please have your child practice their multiplication facts. These will be an asset for the year as we look at a variety of math concepts that will be easier for your child when multiplication facts are memorized.
